Fenologi Pembungaan dan Penyerbukan Cereus jamacaru D.C. (Cactaceae) Koleksi Kebun Raya Bogor

Cactaceae merupakan tanaman asli Amerika (bagian Utara, Tengah dan Selatan) daerah tropis subtropis, berperan penting dalam ekosistem kering gersang. Tanaman Cereus jamacaru D.C. (Pleated cereus) dianggap karena berpotensi sebagai bunga hias, makanan obat. Fenologi pembungaan pembuahan ini belum banyak diketahui. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) tahapan fenologi C. jamacaru, serta (2) polinator yang proses penyerbukan. dilakukan di Kebun Raya Bogor pada bulan Maret - Mei 2015. Jumlah sampel diamati adalah tujuh kuncup (inflorescens). Pengamatan meliputi pemekaran (tahap 1) mekar sempurna 2). Variabel tahap 1 panjang diameter bunga, calon buah, tabung kuntum. 2 kuntum, periantum, kumpulan stamen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1, 98.35 mm, 42.95 buah 47.79 20.83 mm kuntum 17.96 mm. Pada setelah antesis, stamen 40.26 periantum 80.11 176.77 Polinator penyerbukan yaitu Trigona, Apis indica, semut.
